​​The Health & Wellness Program is offered year round. This program is overseen by a Registered Nurse and places focus on the welfare of youth. Children of all ages develop and grow at different rates, with the introduction of healthy life style modifications and access to healthy foods prevention of childhood disease becomes an obtainable goal.


This program is currently offered free of charge to youth ages 5-17 years of age, who are enrolled in our After-School & Out of School Time Programs.


Each child will receive

 

  • Height & Weight assessments


  • Calculation of BMI ​


  • Evidenced Based Education related to the following:​​


  1. ​Diet 
  2. Health & Hygiene 
  3. Disease Prevention & Management
